1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all sales and services provided by BuildIT.im (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing from or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under Isle of Man law.
2. Guarantees and After‑Sales Service
2.1 Product Description and Quality
We guarantee that all goods supplied:
- match their stated description and specification;
- are of satisfactory quality at the time of delivery;
- will remain of satisfactory quality during normal use for 12 months following delivery.
If a fault arises within this period, we will repair, replace, refund, or credit the goods at our discretion.
2.2 Manufacturer Warranties
Where applicable, manufacturer warranties and after‑sales service terms are included with the product documentation.
2.3 Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover defects caused by:
- fair wear and tear;
- wilful damage;
- accident or negligence;
- improper installation;
- use contrary to manufacturer instructions;
- unauthorised repair or modification.
2.4 Reporting Defects
If goods develop a defect under warranty, you must notify BuildIT.im as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.
3. Advice and Installation
We may provide advice on installation, compatibility, configuration, and upgrades. We will take reasonable care when giving advice based on the information you provide.
Unless we install the goods ourselves, we cannot guarantee suitability for your specific system or application.
Where we install goods into your system, we warrant the suitability of the goods installed.
4. Our Right to Cancel
If circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent us from supplying goods—including supplier failure—we may cancel your order before delivery.
If this occurs, we will refund all sums paid within a reasonable timeframe. We are not liable for any additional loss arising from such cancellation.
5. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- ensuring compatibility of goods with your existing system;
- ensuring correct installation unless we perform the installation;
- downloading any required drivers, manuals, or updates from the manufacturer’s website.
6. E‑Commerce Terms (Online Sales)
6.1 Order Acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline your order at our discretion. Order confirmation emails do not constitute acceptance until goods are dispatched.
6.2 Pricing
Prices shown on our website include VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to adjust prices before dispatch if VAT or supplier pricing changes.
6.3 Payment
Payment is due at checkout unless otherwise agreed. We accept major payment methods as listed on our website.
6.4 Delivery
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk passes to you upon delivery.
6.5 Returns (Online Purchases)

Goods that conform to the contract will not be accepted for return unless covered by warranty.
7. Custom PC Build Warranty Disclaimer
Custom PC builds include a 12‑month BuildIT.im workmanship warranty, covering:
- assembly faults;
- incorrect installation of components;
- wiring or cable‑management issues;
- cooling configuration errors.
7.1 What is NOT covered
- Overclocking damage unless performed by BuildIT.im
- Software corruption or malware
- User‑installed components causing instability
- Liquid cooling leaks caused by user modification
- Physical damage, drops, or electrical surges
- BIOS changes made after delivery
- Damage caused by third‑party repairs
7.2 Customer Responsibilities
You must:
- operate the PC within normal environmental conditions;
- avoid tampering with internal components unless competent;
- maintain reasonable airflow and cleanliness;
- install updates responsibly.
8. IT Services Warranty Disclaimer
For repairs, upgrades, and IT support:
- We guarantee workmanship for 30 days from completion.
- We do not guarantee outcomes where faults arise from pre‑existing issues, user software, or third‑party hardware.
- Data recovery is performed on a best‑effort basis and is not guaranteed.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of all important data.
9. Variations in Description or Specification
We may supply goods with minor variations in description or specification where required by safety or statutory regulations, or where such variations do not materially affect quality or performance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Isle of Man law:
- Our liability for breach of contract or negligence is limited to the price of the goods or services supplied.
- We are not liable for:
- business interruption;
- loss of data, software, or digital content;
- loss of profits or revenue;
- damage to property;
- indirect or consequential loss;
- incompatibility with third‑party hardware or software;
- issues caused by user installation or modification.
10.1 PC‑Specific Liability
We are not liable for:
- component failure caused by manufacturer defects (covered by manufacturer warranty);
- GPU/CPU damage caused by user overclocking;
- cooling system leaks caused by user modification;
- BIOS corruption caused by user flashing.
10.2 IT Service Liability
We are not liable for:
- data loss during repair or recovery;
- software conflicts caused by third‑party applications;
- network issues caused by external providers.
This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
We recommend maintaining appropriate insurance and regular data backups.
11. Choice of Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law of the Isle of Man. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Isle of Man courts.
If any part of these Terms is found unlawful, the remainder shall continue in full force.
